ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On April 26, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a local elementary school after receiving a complaint from school officials regarding Syreeta B. Joubert, 31, 2115 2nd Avenue, Lake Charles, physical abusing a 10 year old family member who is a student at the school.

Deputies learned Joubert struck the victim several times with a studded belt, causing numerous lacerations on the victim’s buttocks.

When questioned by detectives, Joubert confirmed the allegations. She was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with 1 count of cruelty to a juvenile and released on a $1,500 bond set by Judge Robert Wyatt.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On April 24, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a local elementary school after receiving a complaint from school officials regarding Nicole M. Henning, 29, 2409 Elm Street, Lake Charles, physical abusing a 7 year old family member who is a student at the school.

Deputies learned Henning struck the victim with her hand, causing large bruises and red marks to the right side of his face. Deputies also observed multiple bruises on the left side of the victim’s face, head, arm, neck and ear.

When questioned by detectives, Henning confirmed she struck the victim on the right side of the face. She was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with 1 count of cruelty to a juvenile.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On April 3, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office receiving a complaint regarding Kandyse R. Sensat, 31, 4017 Wildflower Drive, Sulphur, physically abusing an 11 year old family member.

Detectives were advised following a recent argument with her live-in boyfriend, Sensat placed a blanket over the victim’s nose and mouth. Detectives also discovered on a previous occasion, Sensat struck the victim multiple times on her arm and leg and had slammed the victim’s head into a wall.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On March 30, at approximately 1:45 a.m., Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched regarding a complaint of a suspicious pick-up truck at a home on Highway 109 in Vinton.

Upon arrival, deputies observed a truck matching the description with a utility trailer containing a washing machine, mattress, entertainment console, and a dolly, backed up to the porch of the home. Deputies also discovered the back door of the home had been forced open.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES LA. — On March 22, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a school in DeQuincy after receiving a complaint from school officials regarding Mary A. Jordan, 42, 719 Roland Patillo Road, DeQuincy, physically abusing a 10 year old family member who is a student at the school.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered Jordan struck the victim on his back with a belt, causing multiple severe bruises.

After further investigation, Jordan was arrested on March 22 and booked into Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with cruelty to a juvenile. She has been released on a $15,000 bond set by Judge Robert Wyatt.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On March 4, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a local middle school after receiving a complaint from school officials regarding Belinda S. Blessing, 39, 384 Victoria Drive, Moss Bluff, physically abusing an 11 year old family member who is a student at the school.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered Blessing struck the victim in the face with a hair brush, causing severe bruising and swelling to her eye.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On March 1, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint regarding Renee E. Broussard, 41, 1636 E. Tank Farm Road, Lake Charles, having inappropriate sexual contact with a local 16 year old boy, whom she met online.

During further investigation, Broussard confirmed she had inappropriate sexual contact with the 16 year old victim on numerous occasions since October 2012. She was arrested and booked into Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with 11 counts felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
