ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On March 21, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a local hotel regarding a theft.
Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the victim who advised a diaper bag containing over $100,000 worth of jewelry, several electronic items, and $14,000 cash had been stolen from the pool area of the hotel. He and his wife, with their children, were spending the weekend at the hotel and didn’t realize the diaper bag was missing until they got to their home in Texas.
