Country music’s king of the road and the Academy Award-winning director will collaborate on the next installment of the “American Express Unstaged” music series on June 20.
“I think it’s a unique situation for both of us because odds are we never would have worked together without this thing, you know?” Chesney said. “And I think it’s a good thing. I love meeting and working with people who can push me and inspire me creatively in a different way. And I think that all creative people look for inspiration. That’s the thing I’m looking forward to the most about this, because it is left of center and it is combining two worlds.”

Kevin Hoover attempted to conduct a stop on a car near mile marker 10 traveling eastbound on I-10 for a traffic violation. When Cpl. Hoover activated his unit’s lights and sirens signaling for the driver to stop, the driver did not comply and continued to flee from him. The driver, later identified as Kanarriso D. Loveless, 39, 7791 Aaron Drive, Pensacola, Florida, began to drive very aggressively, traveling at speeds in excess of 120 mph and passing other vehicles on the shoulder of the interstate. When Sgt. Cole spoke with the driver, Sandra M. Lopez, 25, 8721 Town Park Drive, Houston, and passenger Hector E. Aguilera, 34, 76046 Carretera Colombia Street, Monterrey, Mexico, they began to act suspiciously. After receiving permission from Lopez to search the SUV, Sgt. Johnson, 40, Houston, TX, who was traveling east on I-10, for a traffic violation at Mile Marker 25.
