With the Indiana Pacers on a West coast swing, team officials thought it would be a good idea to get team mascot Boomer out on the road for some good old fashioned halftime exercise. The furry yellow and blue creature made a stop at New Palestine (Ind.) McNeese State begins a two game home stand Wednesday when the Cowboys host Southeastern Louisiana in a Southland Conference basketball game.
Tipoff is 7 p.m. in Burton Coliseum and featured at the game will be $1 hot dogs.
As for the game itself, the Cowboys, who will also host Northwestern State on Saturday afternoon in a twinbill (Cowgirls play the Lady Demons at 1 p.m. and the Cowboy-Demon game will tipoff 30 minutes following), will be attempting to get back on the winning track after bowing to Texas State in their last appearance.
