ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On November 7, 2012 at 10:00 a.m., the Lake Charles Police Department arrested a DeQuincy Police Officer for DWI, Hit and Run and Reckless Operation of a motor vehicle. Lake Charles Police began receiving calls about a marked DeQuincy Police unit operating recklessly, striking a fence at 229 West School Street and a tree at the intersection of Bayou Drive and Orchard Drive.

Upon arrival at Bayou and Orchard, Lake Charles Police Officers located the Dequincy Police unit stuck in a wooded area south of Orchard Drive. Officers came into contact with the driver who was identified as 30 year old Matthew Sollay of Lake Charles. It was confirmed that Sollay was a police officer with the DeQuincy Police Department and was off-duty at the time of the incident.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — Calcasieu Parish safe, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office will be conducting a DWI checkpoint at an undisclosed location in the parish on Friday, November 9.

This checkpoint will target individuals driving under the influence of alcohol and/or narcotics. They have proven to be very effective in discouraging citizens from driving while impaired and people are more likely to designate a driver when they know sobriety checkpoints are being conducted.

ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA — On Friday, April 27, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office conducted a DWI checkpoint at the 4500 block of Highway 27 South in Carlyss to target individuals driving under the influence of alcohol and/or narcotics.

Eight-hundred and sixty-two (862) vehicles were checked; eight (8) field sobriety tests were administered; seven (7) citations were issued; and the following person was arrested for DWI:

Officials in Southern California say Bobby Brown has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

California Highway Patrol Officer Mike Harris says Brown was arrested around 12:20 p.m. Monday in the San Fernando Valley north of Los Angeles. He failed a field sobriety test and was booked on suspicion of DUI. View full article »

Tiger Woods mistress #4 Jamie Jungers was busted in Las Vegas early Friday morning for DUI.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Jungers was involved in a car accident on the corner of Tropicana and Lindell, not too far off the Vegas strip. We’re told cops arrested Jungers (real name, by the way) for driving on a suspended registration, having no proof of insurance, and driving under the influence. View full article »
