ERIC SCOTT RADIO | LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On July 27, Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a local casino regarding a purse snatching.
Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the victim who advised her purse, which contained a gold chain, credit cards, and the keys to her car, was stolen as she walked to her car in the casino parking lot.
After further investigation, detectives arrested Quintessa D. Vital, 20, 2725 General Arnold Street, and Donavon D. Holloway, 19, 503 1/2 Blake Street, both of Lake Charles, in connection with the purse snatching. Both were booked into the Calcasieu Correction Center and charged with purse snatching.
CPSO detectives previously arrested Joseph L. Kirklin, 17, 1806 9th Avenue, Lake Charles, who was already incarcerated at the Calcasieu Correctional Center on unrelated charges, also in connection with the purse snatching.
Judge Clayton Davis set their bonds at $50,000 each.
