ERIC SCOTT RADIO |LAKE CHARLES, LA. — On July 30, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office received a complaint regarding Jaime R. Capps, 35, 6027 Daughenbaugh Road, Iowa, physically abusing a 10 year old family member.
Further investigation revealed the child had been whipped using a belt, causing severe bruising on both sides of the child’s buttocks.
Capps was arrested and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center and charged with cruelty to a juvenile and released on a $1,500 bond set by Judge Wilford Carter.
CPSO Detective Cinnamon Salvador is the lead investigator on this case.

Whatever happened in this case? Was he convicted or did the system once again fail to protect a child?
Keeps getting continuances every time he has a court date. His day will come.
Last I heard he has a new girlfriend. I guess we can see the writing on the wall the first time she says something he doesn’t like. Like there aren’t enough abused woman in this world and this poor unsuspecting girl meets this loser.
Hope the court system doesn’t do a poor job with this case.
